The annual Harvest Festival took place across all sections of the College during the first week of October, marking a week filled with generosity and community spirit. Pupils from every year group brought in a large variety of Harvest gifts, which were later delivered to two local charities: and , both of which provide essential resources for families in need.

A special service was held in the College Chapel, bringing together parents, grandparents, and children from the Junior Prep School. The theme of the service, “sharing,” was highlighted in a particularly touching moment by Jack, a Year 3 pupil, who donated his well-earned KitKat to the Harvest collection at the end of the service. His selfless gesture exemplified the core message of the day: the joy and importance of giving to others.

Later that week, the Senior School pupils received a visit from Martin Auton-Lloyd, the CEO of Family Support Work. In an inspiring address, Auton-Lloyd shared two powerful stories from his own experience, illustrating the impact of sharing with those who are less fortunate. His words encouraged the students to think beyond material gifts and to consider the value of giving their time, talents, and support to help those in need.

The Harvest Festival once again highlighted the College’s strong sense of community and the power of generosity, reminding pupils, staff, and families alike of the importance of sharing and supporting one another.
